The perfect space for meetings and classes with the modern technology of a smartboard, surrounded with examples of sustainable building and informative displays.

Sustainable South Canterbury Trust is leading the way in developing a unique Eco Centre for Timaru and surrounding districts.

Everyone in the community has access to our resource facility designed as a hub for demonstrating ideas and providing education on practical solutions for sustainability. Visitors can join us to learn how to grow their own food, help protect wildlife or waterways, eco-design building, heat, insulation, recycling and waste minimisation.

Whatever the query, we are here to support our community with its sustainability needs through displays, events, and education. The Eco Centre can also be hired for meetings, classes, events and ceremonies.
