Sustainability Trust
The awesome team behind our mahi.
We're a social enterprise in Te Upoko o te Ika a Māui (Wellington region).
When it comes to healthy, sustainable homes and helping people to reduce their impact on the environment, you can trust us. All our profits are invested in our community programmes, building forward-thinking and resilient communities by lowering barriers to a sustainable lifestyle.
Te Aro Zero Waste is a public hub for education, sustainability advice, drop-off of hard to recycle items such as e-waste and much more. Education programmes such as RepairED, provide our communities with ways to take on climate change action and nurture their relationship with Papatūānuku.
Visiting thousands of homes every year, we give advice and install heat pumps, insulation and EV charging stations. Wrap around support for low-income households includes the Wellington Curtain Bank which supplies upcycled, lined curtains.
We live by our values, measuring our impact and continuously reviewing our operations to keep our whare in order.
