The Sustaining Hawke's Bay Trust, also known as Environment Centre Hawke's Bay is a registered charity and has been in the community for 30+ years. The trust works across Napier, Hastings, Wairoa and Central Hawke’s Bay. The key focus of the organisation is educating and supporting others to build resilient communities, environment restoration, climate change adaptation and mitigation, advocate for systems change and now climate disaster response. This focus is even more important in the wake of Cyclone Gabrielle. Through education the trust aims to support and grow the capacity of our Hawke’s Bay Communities to achieve their community resilience, food sovereignty, climate adaptation / mitigation and environment restoration goals.
