Go Eco
Our Bike Hub mechanic and volunteers teach basic repairs and maintenance to help make cycling accessible to as many people as possible.
Go Eco (Waikato Environment Centre) are a voice for the environment, a centre for learning and a catalyst for change. With a vision of healthy environments supported by thriving communities we build capability and capacity of environmental groups across the region. We do this by providing access to employment infrastructure, administration and communication support and community networking and advice.
From our Kirikiriroa base, we operate an Envirocentre, Eco shop, Bike Hub and Food Rescue service (Kaivolution). We educate, organise and advocate for Te Tiriti justice and climate action. Our team collaborate on projects like the Climate Response Programme, Te Puna Kai o Waikato, Project Echo, Whakamana ki Rotorua, Predator Free Waikato and the Energy Navigator programme.
